Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th July 1983. After graduating, her first job was with the realty industry. It was here that she got to know Tarek El-Moussa, her future husband. The couple had huge success before the crash of 2008 when real estate investors, house flippers, and other property owners went broke. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa lost almost everything as a consequence of the 2008 stock market collapse. They moved from an apartment that cost $6,000 per month, to an apartment that cost 700 dollars per month. Their businesses and the economy gradually rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to assist him in creating a HGTV audition tape, which featured him and Christina turning a house beginning to end. The tape landed at the feet of executive from a production company known as Pie Town Productions. They instantly fell in love with Christina and Tarek's story of love. The couple officially signed a deal with HGTV in 2012. In April 2013 "Flip of Flop", a reality show, began its debut. The show ran 92 episodes between 2013 between 2013 and 2017. Christina and Tarek bought houses located in Orange County that were usually mid-income homes. Then they spent a few months renovating their home to turn the house into a profitable business. Tarek is in charge of construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.

Christina and Tarek, who appeared on this show would buy properties - usually houses of middle-class homes in Orange County - and spend some time enhancing them in order so that they could sell them at a higher price.
